Trans Zanskar Trekking Expedition

Destinations Covered :- Leh - Indus Valley - Lamayuru - Wanlah - Hounypatta - Photoskar - Singge La - Lingshet - Snertse - Hanuma La - Pishu - Karsha - Padum - Mune - Ichar - Purni - Phugtal Gompa - Shingsaw - Phirtse La - Serchu Serai - Kilang Sarai - Keylong - Rohtang Pass - Manali - Pinjore - Chandigarh - Delhi.

Day 01 :- Arrive in Leh After arrival at Leh Airport, royals gem Representatives will greet and assist you to transfer to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Namaste dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02 :- Leh Tour Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing of historical city, Leh - the commercial and administrative centre of Ladakh in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Visit to the historic site 17th century Leh Palace. Also visit to the various Gompas in Leh, India. Leh Palace is one of the most charismatic architectural ruins in Leh which attract the attentions of tourists. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03 :- Indus Valley After hearty breakfast, you will leave for a tour of the monasteries and palaces of the Indus valley. Stay overnight in a camp along the way.

Day 04 :- Indus Valley After hearty breakfast, continue your tour of the monasteries and palaces of the Indus valley. Stay overnight in a camp.

Day 05 :- Lamayuru After a relaxed breakfast at the camp, travel by Jeep to Lamayuru Gompa. Lamayuru Gompa is a historic Buddhist site. Here you will see the art and architectural marvels of Lamayuru. Legend narrates that Lamayuru was once a lake, whose water receded up to the mountains when blessed by a Lama to check out of the site for the monastery to be built. Stay overnight in the village.

Day 06 :- Wanlah After a relaxed breakfast, start your trek from Lamayuru over Prinkiti La (3725 metres) to the village of Wanlah, with its ancient Gompa. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp at Wanlah.

Day 07 :- Honupatta Have a hearty breakfast and continue your trek through steep gorges and valleys to the village of Honupatta. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp at Honupatta village.

Trans Zanskar Trekking Expedition-

Day 08 :- Photoksar After a relaxed breakfast continue your trek to the village of Photoksar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp at Photoksar village.

Day 09 :- Singge La Base Camp After a relaxed breakfast continue your trek to the Singge La north base camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 10 :- Singge La Pass After a relaxed breakfast continue your trek over the 5100 metre Singge La pass to the south base camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 11 :- Lingshet After hearty breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Lingshet, an isolated village with stunning views of the mountains. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 12 :- Snertse After hearty breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Snertse. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 13 :- Hanuma La After hearty breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Hanuma La, a pass between high mountains. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 14 :- Pishu After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Pishu, an isolated peak. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 15 :- Karsha Have a relaxed breakfast at the camp and then continue your trek to Karsha, the largest monastery in the entire Zanskar valley. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 16 :- Padum Have a relaxed breakfast at the camp and then continue your trek to Padum, crossing the Zanskar river on a remarkable bridge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 17 :- Padum Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and spend this day at leisure in Padum.

Day 18 :- Mune Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and then continue your trek past the riverside citadel of Bardan Gompa to Mune. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp in Mune.

Day 19 :- Ichar After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek along the banks of the Lungnak(Lingti) River to the village of Ichar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp in Ichar.

Day 20 :- Purni After hearty breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Purni. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 21 :- Phugtal Gompa After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Phugtal Gompa. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 22 :- Tangtse After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to the friendly village of Tangtse, at the base of the gorge leading to Phirtse La. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 23 :- Shingsaw After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Shingsaw, the base camp for our pass crossing. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 24 :- Phirtse La Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and then continue your trek to Phirtse La. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 25 :- Serchu Serai After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Serchu Serai, on the banks of the Yunan River. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 26 :- Kilang Sarai After a relaxed breakfast at the camp continue your trek to Kilang Sarai, and then travel along the scenic Manali to Leh military road. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 27 :- Keylong Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and then travel by jeep to Keylong, the administrative center of Lahaul. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 28 :- Rohtang Pass Have a hearty breakfast at the camp and then travel by jeep over Rohtang Pass. Finally arrive in Manali. Upon arrival in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India,royals gem representative will assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained and prestigious hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Manali is a beautiful hill station in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Enjoy spectacular views of Manali and get pleased with its natural beauty and serenity. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 29 :- Manali. Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure or you can also spend this day in your own independent activities.

Day 30 :- Pinjore Travel by jeep to Pinjore. After arrival at Pinjore, royals gem Representatives will assist you to transfer the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 31 :- Chandigarh After hearty breakfast at the hotel, travel by Jeep to Chandigarh, then catch the express train to Delhi. Upon arrival In Delhi royals gem Representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 32 :- Delhi Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing of Delhi. Indulge yourself in shopping or in your own independent activities. After farewell dinner royals gem Representatives will assist you to transfer to the airport for your flight to your onward/home destination.
