Detailed Tour Itinerary

 

North India Tour-

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival you are welcomed by our representative and after meet and greet services you will be transfer to hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: New Delhi – Kullu Manali (550 Km/ 12 hrs)

We all start our outrageous tour of leh – Laddakh. Our first halt is Kullu – Manali. An overnight journey will take us to Manali. Check in at the hotel and in the afternoon we visit Hadimba temple, Vashisht Sulphur springs and local market of Manali & Overnight at Manali.

Day03: Manali-Jispa (3320 m/11,000 ft).138 kms. – 6 hours drive.

After breakfast begin jeep safari from Manali to Jispa (3320 m/11,000 ft). On the way, stop at Rohtang Pass (3978 m/13,050 ft). Have lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight in hotel at Jispa.

Day 04: Jispa - Sarchu (4290m/14,072ft).100 kms – 5 hours drive.

After breakfast, leave for Sarchu on the border between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. Here you can see the nomadic Gaddi people and an army outpost. On the way, stop at Barchala Pass (4891 m/16,000 ft). At Barchala, which means "a pass with cross roads", the roads from Ladakh, Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti intersect. Dinner & overnight in Sarchu Camp.

Day 05: Sarchu - Leh (3505m/11,500 ft) 240 kms. – 8 hours drive

After Breakfast, leave for Leh and drive though the vast Kyungshu Plains. You can see the Kiang the Wild Ass of Ladakh on these plains. On the way we halt at Tangnangla Pass (5500m/18,040 ft). This is one of the highest passes to have a metalled road. Dinner & overnight in hotel at Leh.

Day 06: Leh & Around

After breakfast, Local Sightseeing of Leh. Stok Palace museum – (17 km), 1 hour drive from Leh. The Palace of the banished royal family, Stok has a museum which displays fabulous period costumes and jewellery of the royalty along with exquisite Thanka paintings representing the life of Sakya Muni. Interesting historical objects like coins, armour, weapons, precious jade and porcelain too can be seen here.Hemis monastery (40 km from Leh) is the wealthiest and biggest gompa of Ladakh, built in 1630 AD, during the reign of King Sengge Namgyal.Shey – the summer palace of the royal family of Ladakh – 15 k.m. upstream from Leh, Shey Palace is believed to have been the seat power of the pre-Tibetan kings. A 7.5 m high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold, is installed in the palace. Shey is also the first capital of Ladakh. Thikse monastery (19 k.m. from Leh) offers a spectacular view. It is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompa that has extraordinary images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha. Evening walk to Shanti Stupa. Dinner & overnight in hotel at Leh.

Day 07: Leh – Khardung La –Khalsar (Nubra Valley) 110 km. 5-6 Hrs. drive

After breakfast, drive to Khardung La (Pass) (5600 m/18,600 ft.), the highest motorable road in the world. After the Pass, we enter into Nubra Valley. Dinner & overnight in camp at Khalsar.

Day 08: Khalsar-Panamik-Khalsar (Nubra Valley) 150 km

After breakfast, drive to Panamik. Visit hot water sulphur springs and 250 years old Samoor Gompa. Drive back to Khalsar via. Tirit village. Dinner & overnight in camp at Khalsar.

Day 09: Khalsar-Leh (110 km.)

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via. Khardung-La (Pass). Reach Leh by early evening. Dinner & overnight in hotel at Leh.

Day 10: Leh – Pangong Tso Lake – Leh.

After breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Tso Lake. This route proceeds past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey, and turns into the side-valley of Chemrey, Sakti. The Ladakh range is crossed by the Chang-La (17,350 ft), which is one of the easier passes and the 3rd highest motor able road in the world. Return to Leh by evening. Dinner & overnight in hotel at Leh

Day 11: Leh – Sarchu (4290m/14,072ft). 240 km, 8-9 Hrs.

After breakfast, start the return journey to Manali. We stay for the night, half way to Manali at Sarchu. Overnight in Camp.

Day 12: Sarchu – Manali (2050m/6765ft.) 240 km, 8-9 Hrs.

After breakfast drive to Manali via the picturesque Lahaul valley. Spend some time at Famous Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali by Late afternoon. Check into Hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13: Manali - New Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel and we drive back to Delhi. We are carrying some of the amazing memories with us of Leh – Laddakh. Check in at the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: New Delhi – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel and today we visit old delhi start with Red fort later Jama masjid after visiting that we go through the chandni chowk and take a padal rikshaw ride and later we visit Humanyun tomb & Kutub minar another world heritage sight and at last we visit India gate and dinner at famous restaurant at pandara road and timely transfer to International Airport to take flight to desire destination. Tour ends with unforgettable memories……………………………………………..
